A group of volunteers is stewarding an effort to raise $1,000,000 to transform our emergency services department.
Our Promise To Our Community
Together, we will build a new modern Emergency Department Annex (9300 square feet) that
will provide transformational comprehensive changes to our capacity to provide the highest
quality of care to the greater Clifton Fine region..
New Emergency Department, Close to Home
The newly constructed space will meet mission critical objectives identified during the
pandemic and by current standards of care. The new Emergency Services Annex will be
equipped to serve our rural community now and in the face of uncertain times in the
future. The current Emergency Room was constructed in the 1950’s and has not been
significantly updated.
Funding and Timeline
The entire project will cost $22,640,000. The state will provide most of the funding via transformational grants.
The St. Lawrence County ARPA has provided $300,000 and the Town of Fine has provided $75,000.
Our community is an essential partner in our success.
We are short $1,000,000 which will be used to purchase all new radiology and imaging
equipment. In addition, the Physical Therapy Department will be relocated to the current
hospital building and that equipment will also be updated.
